About Me

My name is Matthew “Matty” Evans. Just a baseball dad. I have always enjoyed being on the ball field. Didn’t have much of a career when I was young. In my 20-30's I always played softball as much as I could. Now I am creeping up on 50 and still taking the field.

My son is, as I write this, about to enter his 14u season. Been going to private coaching for a while. We have been with different coaches over the years and one thing I noticed, in just an overhearing conversations around the cages, was the difficulty coaches had when scheduling sessions and getting their payments.

I would hear, “can you do this day”........“Nope I have games, how about….” Or “Hey dad, did you send that Zelle, Venmo, etc… or did you have cash.” The most common, and I am definitely one that says this all the time, “I don’t carry cash, I’ll send it to ya or bring next time.”

Got me thinking, there is a better way. Automated scheduling and payments will solve the problem and allow you to take the collections hat off and put your coaching hat back on.

So I started Digital Coach. A system with many bonuses. Scheduling, Payments, Marketing and more. I want to help coaches build their coaching brand. Attracting the right athletes to work with & keeping your calendar full.
